What to watch in the demo

Gates of Olympus swings harder than most slots, and the demo is the cheapest way to feel that. Over a few hundred play-money spins, note how often an orb lands on a spin that actually wins, how long it takes to see four Zeus scatters, and how far the total multiplier climbs in a typical free spins round. A run of rounds that finish under 20x is normal.

Tumbles and Zeus’s orbs

Each spin fills thirty positions. Any symbol that appears eight times or more pays, then disappears, and the gaps are filled from above. A single paid spin can therefore chain several wins together.

Orbs can drop during any spin of the base game. They do nothing on their own: only if the tumble sequence ends with a win are their values added together and applied to that sequence’s total. A 5x and a 10x orb on a £2 sequence pay £30, not £100.

Zeus himself is the scatter. Landing four of him returns 3x the stake, five return 5x, six return 100x, and any four or more open the gates to the free spins.

Free spins and the total multiplier

Four or more Zeus scatters open 15 free spins. The grid works as before, but orbs behave differently: each one that lands in a winning sequence is added to a total multiplier shown beside the grid. That total is applied to every winning sequence from then on and never resets until the round ends.

Three or more scatters during the round add five spins and keep the total intact, which is how the biggest results happen. The round stops early if the 5,000x cap is reached.

Return, volatility and the 5,000x cap

The default RTP of 96.50% is a little above average, but casinos may run the 95.51% or 94.50% version instead; on £100 staked the gap between top and bottom is roughly £2 in expected return. Pragmatic Play rates the volatility at five out of five. Expect long quiet stretches, with most of the game’s value packed into the free spins.
